Rose Construction 3rd Quarter Update

Steve Norman, Chief Operating Officer

Very proud and excited for our Rose Construction team as we head into the 4 quarter of 2017.  We continue to work safely, placing a priority on ensuring the safe well-being of each of our team members, clients, and sub-contractors at all our job sites.  We continue to add backlog, many of which are repeat clients which is outstanding!  Below are a few highlights not only from the field but also from our community involvement this past quarter.

Project Highlights

  • Our Middle TN Division continues to make progress on 2 major self-storage projects in the Nashville Market.  We expect the 93,600 SF Nolensville Road facility to be complete by the end of the year and the 88,800 SF Kenilwood multi-story facility to be complete in early 2018.  Below are progress pics.
  • In addition to these projects our team in Mid TN also started an expansion project at repeat client Nashville Wire.  This 37,350 SF expansion will provide additional production space for their growing business!
  • In West TN, our Civil Team is wrapping up work at Unilever Covington as part of their cold storage expansion; We have started an expansion project at Bongards Creamery in Humboldt TN; Wrapping up the Ripley TN Streetscapes project; and also beginning in October starting an expansion of the Discovery Park Area in Union City, TN.

Community Service Update

We asked and our Rose Construction Team gave! What an amazing and successful first school supply drive supporting our local Boys and Girls Club! 33 employees participated in this community service outreach that affects children in our home office community – Covington TN. The Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region provided for over 100 children as a result of this outreach project. Employees along with Rose Construction provided cash contributions for the purchase of school supplies.  In addition, our team donated hundreds of actual school supplies including but not limited to pencils, pens, paper, staplers, notebooks, highlighters, markers, glue, calculators, pencil sharpeners, etc.  Thank you for stepping up for our community, Rose Construction Team!
